Associated with economic policy towards developing countries (3.5.8), there are purely political issues: the receipt of aid has a political impact in the country receiving it (6.7.6.1); there are governance issues within developing countries as they try to develop (6.7.6.2); and developed countries have ways of putting political pressure on them (6.7.6.3).
